What does “Employment of General Foreign Professionals in Taiwan” mean?
Hiring foreigners in Taiwan must comply with the Employment Service Act and the Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals. The following lists 11 categories of work that foreigners may engage in in Taiwan (as stipulated in Article 46, Paragraph 1 of the Employment Service Act):
