🎯 Purpose

To assist overseas Chinese and international students with securing employment in Taiwan after graduation, NSYSU established the "Career and Employment Hub for International Students" in 2025. This initiative aims to strengthen career counseling and employment support mechanisms.
In collaboration with Taiwan Hopax Chemicals Mfg. Co., Ltd., we are hosting an Employment and Industry Development Trends Briefing. The Marketing Director and Deputy HR Manager will share insights on the development trends of the chemical and biotechnology industries, the company’s business philosophy and future outlook, practical job-seeking experiences as well as career development. This will help international students gain a better understanding of Taiwan’s job market, enhance their competitiveness, and successfully pursue careers that align with their expertise.

📌 Features and Implementation

The seminar commenced with the screening of a corporate video. First, Mr. Mike, the Marketing Director from India, introduced the company’s business philosophy, future prospects, and employee benefits. Next, Ms. Ming, a sales representative from Thailand, shared her motivations for studying in Taiwan and her practical experiences in the Taiwanese workplace, offering first-hand job observations and career insights. At the same time, Ms. Wang Yifei (王乙妃), Deputy Manager of the Human Resources Department, provided additional information on job opportunities across various fields. Finally, Mr. Mike discussed his own journey of staying and working in Taiwan, encouraging international students to continuously improve their Mandarin skills. The event featured active participation and lively interactions, effectively helping international students clarify their career planning and enhance their understanding and preparedness for Taiwan’s workplace environment.
