YAGEO Corporation is offering internship opportunities in equipment maintenance, process engineering, and production operations. Eligible students are welcome to apply.
Explore Three Internship Opportunities
A total of 80 internship openings are available. Please review the responsibilities, qualifications, salary, and working hours for each position.
Equipment Maintenance Assistant Engineer
20 Openings- Maintain and repair electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair mechanical equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and make preliminary assessments of equipment abnormalities.
- Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Materials Science, Resources Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
10 working hours per day; 40 hours per week
Two days on, two days off
Day shift: 7:30 AM–7:30 PM
Includes a two-hour break
Process Engineer
10 Openings- Improve process capabilities and develop optimized manufacturing procedures.
- Optimize production conditions and analyze, monitor, and improve product yield.
- Introduce new technologies and control manufacturing process parameters.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Materials Science, Resources Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
8 working hours per day; 40 hours per week
Five-day workweek with two days off
Day shift: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Includes a one-hour break
Production Technician
50 Openings- Operate production machinery and identify equipment abnormalities.
- Participate in hands-on production line training and quality inspections.
- Assist with production operations management.
- Open to students from all academic disciplines.
10 working hours per day; 40 hours per week
Two days on, two days off
Day shift: 7:30 AM–7:30 PM
Includes a two-hour break
Three Internship Sites in Kaohsiung
Internship placements are available at YAGEO's Dashe, Nanzi, and Dafa plants in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Compensation and Benefits
Monthly Salary
NT$29,500–34,000 per month, depending on the position.
Insurance
Labor Insurance and National Health Insurance are provided.
Labor Pension
Labor pension contributions are provided in accordance with applicable regulations.
Meals
Meals are available with an employee contribution of NT$35 per meal.
Accommodation
Accommodation is not provided. Interns must arrange their own housing.
Internship Agreement
The company agrees to sign an off-campus internship agreement.
Internship Periods and Application Deadlines
Applicants must be enrolled university students undertaking an internship during either the second semester of their senior year or their entire senior academic year. Position-specific academic requirements also apply.
