🎯 Purpose
To support graduating international students in their transition to further study and career development after graduation, this banquet was organized to celebrate their achievements and express the University's best wishes. The event also provided information on employment opportunities, career planning, and recent policies related to working in Taiwan, helping students better prepare for their future academic and professional pathways.
📌 Features and Implementation
The Graduation Banquet for International Students was held at Chateau de Chine Hotel Kaohsiung, bringing together graduating students to celebrate the completion of their studies and their achievements at NSYSU.
Professor Ming-Hsuan Lee, Vice President of the Office of International Affairs, and Director Chin-Ho Lin of the Overseas and International Degree Student Affairs Division attended the event and offered their congratulations. They encouraged graduates to make use of their intercultural experiences and professional skills as they pursue future academic and career opportunities.
A Kahoot! interactive quiz was incorporated into the program to introduce the latest 2026 employment policies and regulations for international graduates in Taiwan. The activity helped students better understand career opportunities, work permit requirements, and future development pathways in Taiwan.
The event also featured sharing sessions by graduating students from the Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Pakistan, who reflected on their academic journeys and experiences living in Taiwan. Their stories highlighted the diversity and vitality of the University's international community.
The banquet concluded in a warm and joyful atmosphere, celebrating the graduates' accomplishments and wishing them success in their future endeavors.
