🎯 Purpose
To enhance the employment competitiveness of international students and overseas Chinese students in Taiwan and to strengthen the connection between global talent and enterprises, NSYSU collaborates with USI (Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd.) to organize this "USI Company Info Session x On-site Interview ".
The event begins with a corporate briefing delivered by representatives from USI, introducing the company's development, global presence, core technologies, and talent cultivation system. Job openings and recruitment requirements will also be explained to help students quickly understand industry trends and career directions.
Unlike traditional one-way lectures, this event emphasizes a "real-time listening and immediate matching" model. After the briefing session, the program will seamlessly transition into on-site interviews, where students may submit resumes and directly engage in face-to-face preliminary interviews with company HR or managers. Outstanding candidates may proceed to further selection stages or even receive immediate job offers, achieving a fast transition from campus to workplace.
This event not only significantly shortens the recruitment process but also provides students with a practical and efficient interview experience, enabling them to demonstrate their professional abilities and international advantages. It also supports enterprises in effectively recruiting global talent, creating a win-win outcome and facilitating students' successful career development in Taiwan.
📌 Highlights & Implementation
This event not only streamlined the job application process but also provided students with an authentic and efficient interview experience, enabling them to demonstrate their professional competencies and international strengths while helping the company identify and recruit outstanding international talent. Through this innovative recruitment and matching model, the event aimed to create a win-win outcome by facilitating international students' career development in Taiwan and supporting their transition to the global workforce.
The event began with a company presentation delivered by representatives from Universal Scientific Industrial (USI). The presentation introduced the company's development history, global operations, major products and technologies, corporate culture, talent development programs, and the job opportunities available through this recruitment event. It provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the company and its career opportunities.
Following the company presentation, online one-on-one matching interviews were conducted. Based on the positions students had applied for, USI arranged two separate virtual interview rooms. Each interview lasted approximately 15 minutes, during which company representatives discussed the students' educational background, professional skills, language proficiency, and career goals, while conducting a preliminary assessment. This allowed students to directly showcase their strengths and qualifications to the employer.
To enhance the efficiency of the recruitment process, the Career & Employment Hub for International Students collected and organized all participants' resumes in advance and shared them with the company prior to the event. This enabled the employer to review each applicant's background beforehand and conduct more focused interviews. The event proceeded smoothly, with students actively asking questions, expressing their career interests, and demonstrating strong engagement throughout the sessions.
Overall, the event successfully established a direct communication platform between the company and international talent. It not only helped students gain a deeper understanding of recruitment practices and interview procedures in Taiwan but also enabled the company to connect with highly qualified candidates from diverse international backgrounds. The event effectively fulfilled its objective of promoting employment opportunities for international students in Taiwan while strengthening talent matching between industry and academia.
