HOPAX is dedicated to sustainable innovation in green chemistry. Currently, we rank among the top two global manufacturers of "medical-grade biological buffers." Our product applications span across "biopharmaceuticals," "functional additives," "water-based high-molecular-weight monomers," and "biomolecules."
In response to key human technological development projects, we have entered high-end medical pharmaceuticals, 5G, electric vehicles, and other supply chains. 🎯 Purpose
Since its establishment in 2025, the NSYSU Career & Employment Hub for International Students has been committed to supporting international students in developing their careers in Taiwan. Through strategic collaboration with the Hub, the College of Management arranged this visit to HOPAX, a leading high-tech company, to implement the educational goals of “Case Study” and “Preparation for Corporate Internships.” The purpose of this visit was to guide students in gaining an in-depth understanding of how HOPAX integrates core chemical and biotechnology expertise to maintain its global competitive advantage. The visit also aimed to inspire international students’ interest in and recognition of career opportunities in Taiwan’s high-tech industries, effectively achieving two-way industry-academia exchange and talent counseling outcomes.
📌 Features and Implementation
The visit was carefully designed to allow international students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operating model of Taiwan‘s high-tech enterprises:
1. Corporate Culture Briefing: The professional team from HOPAX introduced the company’s development history and core values of “pursuing excellence and giving back to society,” helping students understand the important role of Taiwanese enterprises in global supply chains.
2. On-site Observation of R&D and Manufacturing Processes: Through a guided tour of the factory area or exhibition space, students observed the advanced manufacturing processes of biological buffers and lithium battery materials up close, gaining an understanding of how chemical technologies are transformed into globally competitive commercial products.
3. Career Exchange and Interaction: A discussion session was specially arranged during the visit, focusing on topics of interest to international students, including demand for multinational talent, overseas market strategies, and corporate talent development programs. Company representatives shared the importance they place on professional talent with international perspectives and cross-language abilities, providing students with concrete career guidance.
