🎯 Objective
To assist international students in integrating academic knowledge with industry practice and enhancing their internship and employment capabilities, NSYSU has launched the “NSYSU iLead|Career Pilot Program.” This program adopts a three-in-one approach—internship, training, and employment—to cultivate international talents with cross-cultural communication skills and workplace readiness. It aims to help students align with industry trends, strengthen career development, and smoothly transition into internships and full-time employment.
This event, held on March 14, 2026, invites various companies to introduce internship and full-time opportunities, corporate culture, and demand for international talent. It also provides students with opportunities for on-site interaction and resume submission. Through engagement between students and employers, the event enhances understanding of Taiwan’s workplace environment and industry trends, strengthens employability, and fosters meaningful connections among students, companies, and the university.
📌 Highlights & Implementation
To promote interaction between enterprises and international talent and support students in exploring career opportunities in Taiwan, NSYSU organized the “iLEAD Internship Program & Corporate Recruitment Information Session” on March 14, 2026, at the campus container box. The event was co-organized with Contact TAIWAN and supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, under the theme “Connecting Industry · Launching Global Careers.” It brought together multiple companies and international students, creating a platform that integrates policy briefings, corporate presentations, and networking.
The event began with registration at 9:20 AM. Students randomly received “career fortune cards” with motivational messages or internship tips, and could record short self-introductions at the interactive recording station, symbolizing the start of their iLEAD career journey. Refreshments were also provided to facilitate a relaxed networking environment.
Following the host’s introduction, Prof. Khong, Director of the Student Exchange Division, Office of International Affairs, delivered opening remarks, encouraging students to actively engage with companies and explore diverse career paths in Taiwan. A group photo was then taken, with participants chanting “Career in Taiwan!” to officially kick off the event.
During the keynote session, a representative from Contact TAIWAN introduced talent recruitment services and platform resources, while an officer from the National Immigration Agency explained the 2026 points-based system and key considerations for international students seeking employment in Taiwan.
The highlight of the event, the corporate presentations, featured multiple companies introducing internship and full-time opportunities (approximately 10 minutes each). QR codes were provided for real-time resume submission. Participating companies included HonHai Technology Group, Eternal Materials Co.,Ltd., Winbond, LITEON Technology, Nan Pao Resins Chemical Co., Ltd., Orient Semiconductor Electronics,Ltd., Zhen Ding Tech. Group, and Salcomp (video presentation).
The session concluded with a Q&A and networking segment, where students actively interacted with company representatives, asked questions, and built connections to better understand industry expectations and career opportunities.
To enhance engagement, interactive installations such as the “Interactive World Map Wall” and “Career Challenge Wheel” were set up at the outdoor job fair area, encouraging students to participate and reflect on their future career paths.
Through this event, NSYSU continues to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and international talent connections, helping students gain exposure to industry trends, broaden career perspectives, and enhance employability, while supporting Taiwanese enterprises in developing globally competitive talent.
