During the visit, Chairman Mr. Ching-Chen (Johnny) Chueh shared his practical experience in organizational behavior, aiming to inspire students to consider diverse perspectives on corporate innovation, succession planning, and career development.

📌 Features and Implementation

This event was carefully coordinated by the HR team of Ocean Alexander, who guided students through the company’s manufacturing processes. Students had the opportunity to observe the yacht assembly and production stages up close, with every detail reflecting the company’s strict quality standards and commitment to excellence. During the visit, students also had the chance to board the luxury yachts and experience firsthand the equipment configurations and design features, gaining a deeper understanding of the professional techniques behind yacht design and manufacturing while obtaining a more comprehensive insight into industry operations.

After the tour, Chairman Ching-Chen (Johnny) Chueh personally introduced Ocean Alexander’s brand positioning, marketing strategies, and market layout to the students. Chairman Chueh shared that Ocean Alexander is a leading yacht brand in Asia and among the top five globally, with its primary market in the United States. The company’s product designs are closely aligned with market demands, and its branches on both the East and West coasts of the U.S. ensure a rapid response to customer needs. The company independently manages all aspects of R&D, marketing, sales, and after-sales service. The Chairman emphasized that only by personally handling sales can the company fully convey the characteristics and advantages of its products, which is why the distribution business is not outsourced. In addition to its own brand, Ocean Alexander also represents several renowned yacht brands and holds one of the highest market shares in the U.S., demonstrating its strong competitiveness and influence in the international market. At the end of the presentation, students actively raised questions, and the Chairman responded patiently while sharing his industry experience and insights, deepening the students’ understanding of the yacht industry.

Throughout the visit and lecture, students gained hands-on insights into production line operations, brand management strategies, and international market practices, allowing them to better understand how theory translates into real-world business execution.

Special thanks go to Assistant Professor Heidi Chang for her leadership and thoughtful arrangements, which enabled students to fully benefit from this valuable learning opportunity. We also sincerely appreciate Chairman Ching-Chen (Johnny) Chueh and the Ocean Alexander HR team for their warm reception and professional explanations, which allowed students to observe production processes up close, understand brand management and market strategies, and experience the design and equipment of luxury yachts firsthand. The professor’s guidance, together with the Chairman and team’s detailed sharing, helped students bridge theory and practice effectively, offering meaningful support for their future career planning and overall understanding of the industry.
