Terms and Conditions for Resume Submission

Thank you for submitting your resume and related information to the “Career & Employment Hub for International Students at National Sun Yat-sen University” (hereinafter referred to as “the Hub”). To protect your rights, please read the following terms carefully. By submitting your information, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

I. Purpose of Collection

  • To build an alumni talent database and support international and overseas Chinese alumni employment in Taiwan.
  • To provide job matching, talent referral, event notifications, and career resources.
  • To serve as reference for education policy planning, departmental evaluations, and statistical research.

II. Categories of Data Collected

  • Basic information: name, nationality, contact details.
  • Educational background: department, degree, graduation year.
  • Resume details: work or internship experience, skills, language ability, job preferences, etc.

III. Scope of Use

  • Data will only be used for the above-stated purposes.
  • When necessary, resume information may be shared with cooperating employers or organizations for recruitment purposes.
  • Data will not be disclosed to unrelated third parties without legal requirements or your explicit consent.

IV. Retention Period and Method

Data will be kept for five years from the submission date or until you request its deletion. The Hub will store your information securely using electronic systems and appropriate information security measures.

V. Your Rights

  • You may request to review, access, or obtain a copy of your personal data.
  • You may request corrections, updates, suspension of use, or deletion of your personal data.

VI. Responsibilities and Limitations

You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate. Any false or infringing information is your sole responsibility. The Hub will make every effort to maintain system security and stability, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operations. The Hub is not liable for data loss caused by force majeure or system failures.

VII. Updates to the Terms

The Hub reserves the right to amend these terms as needed. Any updates will be announced on the platform. Continued submission or update of data constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

VIII. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kaohsiung District Court as the court of first instance.
