Visa and Entry Procedures
1. Visa Subsidies and Waiver of Proof of Financial Means
- Students in the INTENSE Program receive scholarships and monthly living allowances provided by the National Development Fund, enterprises, and schools.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs agrees that overseas Chinese and International students approved by the Ministry of Education are exempt from providing proof of financial means.
2. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Visa Processing Regulations
- Roster Verification
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will first verify the approved student roster transferred by the Ministry of Education before accepting visa applications.
- Applications can be submitted in groups (or by schools as groups) and are exempt from submitting proof of financial means.
- If there are errors or changes in student information, the school must directly request corrections from the relevant overseas offices.
- Visa Review Principles and Notes
- Documents required for verification:
- Admission Permit
- Verified Highest Education Certificate
- Qualified Health Examination Certificate
- Language Proficiency Certificate (Mandarin Chinese Proficiency Test A2 level or English CEFR B1 level or above)
- Upon confirming the applicant's identity, the following visa will be issued:
- Validity period: 3 months
- Single entry
- No stay duration noted
- Visa annotation: "FS/FC - School/Department Name (INTENSE Program)" residence visa
- Documents required for verification:
- Handling of Doubts
- If there are doubts during review, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs may request interviews or additional documents.
- In cases involving recruitment through labor brokers or other illegal activities, visa applications will be directly rejected and referred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for further action.
