Course and Internship Arrangements

Course and Internship Arrangements

1. Enrollment Quota Planning

  • Each program is limited to a maximum of 30 students; the minimum number is set by the school and the company.
  • Classes must not be combined with domestic students or with other departments/programs.
  • Students from different companies may be in the same class, but the language of instruction must be consistent and stated in the brochure.
  • Graduate students and current international students in Taiwan may be in the same class.

2. Curriculum Design Guidelines

  • Courses are co-designed by the school and the company, and company experts may teach.
  • Mandarin support courses are arranged to help students adapt to life and studies.
  • Internships should start from the third semester, with clearly defined content, goals, credits, evaluation methods, stipends, and termination conditions, and a contract must be signed.

3. Graduation Credit Requirements

  • Dual degree programs must follow the “Regulations for Recognition of Foreign Academic Credentials” and include at least one-third of total credits from both domestic and foreign institutions combined.
  • Two-year bachelor’s programs require 72 credits and a qualified internship assessment.
  • Master’s and doctoral programs, and current students in Taiwan, must follow the “Degree Conferral Act” and university regulations.
