🎯 Purpose
To express best wishes to the soon-to-be graduating international students, a special graduation banquet was held. Through this warm and relaxed gathering, we hoped to promote mutual exchange, encourage the sharing of experiences and learning journeys in Taiwan, and help students prepare for future career development in Taiwan. The event aimed to create lasting memories and mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their lives.
📌 Features and Implementation
This graduation banquet was specifically organized for international students who are about to graduate, with the purpose of conveying blessings, as well as supporting students in preparing for their future careers. The event featured opening remarks by Prof. Lee Ming-Hsuan (李明軒), Vice President for International Affairs at NSYSU, and Dr. Lin Chin-Ho (林晉禾), Director of the Division of Overseas and International Degree Student Affairs. They both encouraged graduates to face future challenges with courage and recognized their efforts and growth during their studies in Taiwan.
The banquet was designed to be interactive and engaging, incorporating a Kahoot game-based digital learning activity. This segment guided students through essential information on post-graduation employment regulations in Taiwan, including the points-based system, residency policies, labor market demands, industry development trends, résumé writing, and interview skills. The edutainment approach helped graduates prepare early for their career paths in an enjoyable and effective way.
The entire event was filled with warmth and lively interaction. Graduating students from Syria and Indonesia were invited to the stage to share their reflections on studying in Taiwan, strengthening bonds between faculty and students, and providing valuable insights to support a smooth transition into life and career planning in Taiwan.
