🔹 Purpose
The International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program) is a scholarship initiative designed to foster university–enterprise collaboration and attract international students to pursue higher education and careers in Taiwan.
This briefing session aims to help enterprises and students understand program setup, application requirements, and related regulations, including program features, target groups, eligibility, rights, and obligations. NSYSU co-hosted the session with NPUST to facilitate international talent cultivation.

- Encourages industry-academia collaboration in selecting and training students
- Combines governmental and enterprise support to increase incentives
- Integrates employment mechanisms to support students’ career development in Taiwan
🔹 Event Highlights
The session began with remarks from Prof. Lin Wei-Chih (林韋至), Vice President for Industry Collaboration, NSYSU. Dr. Liu Kun-Yu then explained the INTENSE Program’s objectives and application process. Mr. Hung Po-Chieh, Project Manager of the INTENSE Program Office, and Prof. Lee Ming-Hsuan (李明軒), Vice President for International Affairs, NSYSU, engaged participants through Q&A and open discussion.
