Job Description

The job must fall under the scope of “Specialized or Technical Work” as defined by the relevant job categories. For more information, please refer to the Specialized or Technical Work section on the EZ Work Taiwan website.

Qualification Requirements

Qualifications for Foreign Nationals:

Foreign nationals must have obtained at least a bachelor’s degree in Taiwan, or hold an associate degree in fields related to manufacturing, construction, agriculture, long-term care, e-commerce, etc. The applicant must accumulate at least 70 points upon review to be considered eligible.

Qualifications for Employers:

Employers must meet the eligibility requirements for the relevant category of specialized or technical work (e.g., licenses for specific industries, minimum capital, annual revenue, etc.). For details, please refer to the Specialized or Technical Work section on the EZ Work Taiwan website.

  • Work Experience: Over 2 years: 20 pts; 1 year: 10 pts
  • Chinese Proficiency: Fluent: 30 pts; Advanced: 25 pts; Intermediate: 20 pts
  • Other Languages and Background: Up to 20 pts
  • Policy Compliance and Academic Performance: Up to 40 pts (e.g., participation in government programs, receiving scholarships)
  • Passing Score: 70 points required to qualify

1. Education:

  • PhD: 30 pts
  • Master’s: 20 pts
  • Bachelor’s: 10 pts
  • Associate: 5 pts (only for specific disciplines)
  • Required Document: Copy of diploma

2. Salary:

  • NT$47,971 or above: 40 pts
  • NT$40,000–47,970: 30 pts
  • NT$35,000–39,999: 20 pts
  • NT$31,520–34,999: 10 pts
  • Required Document: Signed employment contract (must state salary, job title, content, etc.)

3. Work or Internship Experience:

  • More than 2 years: 20 pts
  • At least 1 year or 1 year of internship in Taiwan: 10 pts
  • Required Document: Proof of work or internship (copy)

4. Job-Related Qualifications:

  • Special expertise in the job: 20 pts
  • Required Document: Certificates of training, professional licenses, award records, etc.

5. Chinese Proficiency:

  • Fluent: 30 pts; Advanced: 25 pts; Intermediate: 20 pts
  • Required Document: Proficiency certificate, course grades, or proof of study hours

6. Foreign Languages or Multicultural Background:

  • Proficiency in 2 or more languages: 20 pts
  • One language or more than 6 years of overseas residence: 10 pts
  • Required Document: Passport, language certificates, proof of study

7. Policy Compliance:

  • Employed by a policy-aligned company or enrolled in a government program: 20 pts
  • Required Document: Approval letter from central authority, program certificate, industry-academia cooperation document

8. Scholarships and Academic Performance:

  • Government scholarship or top 30% of class: 20 pts
  • Internal scholarship, top 50%, or GPA above 3.0: 5 pts
  • Required Document: Official approval, award list, transcript, etc.

Passing Score: A total of 70 points or above qualifies for employment eligibility.

According to Article 7 of the “Regulations on the Permission and Administration of the Employment of Foreign Workers” and the Ministry of Labor Announcement No. 1110507399 issued on May 19, 2022,
