To assist overseas Chinese and international students in clarifying their future career paths, we have invited Mr. Jarryl Huang, Senior Human Resources Specialist at Lite-On Technology Corporation, to share valuable insights on career exploration. In addition, limited one-on-one career counseling sessions will be offered. This initiative aims to guide NSYSU overseas Chinese and international students in identifying their personal career directions, gaining a deeper understanding of diverse options in further studies and employment, and mastering key job-search strategies, thereby enhancing their career planning and employability competitiveness.
📌 Features and Implementation
Mr. Jarryl Huang, Senior Human Resources Specialist at Lite-On Technology Corporation (Official Website: Click Me; Job Openings: Click Me), the first publicly listed electronics company in Taiwan, was invited to deliver a lecture. He shared his personal academic and career journey, as well as his career development goals, while introducing relevant theories, techniques, and tools of career counseling.
Building on the concept of the “Inner Triangle” (interests, abilities, and values), Mr. Huang guided students in conducting self-assessments, which he then extended to the “Outer Triangle” (positions, companies, and industries) to help them develop a clear direction for career planning. Through illustrations and interactive activities, students were encouraged to reflect on their career goals for the next ten years.
In addition, Mr. Huang introduced the “2025 LIGHT SEEKER All-English Summer Internship Program (Click Me)” and encouraged international students, hailing from more than 13 countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Russia, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, the Philippines, India, Syria, Mexico, and Saint Lucia, to actively apply for the upcoming “2026 LIGHT SEEKER All-English Summer Internship Program.”
Following the lecture, a limited number of one-on-one career counseling sessions were arranged to assist NSYSU Chinese language Center's students and international students in clarifying their career development paths. During these sessions, Mr. Huang also provided resume review and revision advice, aiming to strengthen students’ job-seeking confidence and enhance their competitiveness in the workplace.
